This study is a brief questionnaire (survey) that will ask you for your thoughts about things that can prevent and treat COVID-19 (for example, clinical trials, vaccines, and hand-washing). It is completely anonymous. We will not collect any identifying data about you whatsoever. You do not need to have had COVID-19 or even know anything about it to take the survey. We just want to know what you think. The survey is multiple choice.
We are designing a device that aims to use voice technology to collect dietary recall data. We are recruiting Registered Dietitian's aged 22+ years willing to participate in a 40 minute virtual session. Our hope is to collect the thoughts and perspective of a Registered Dietitian in regard to the challenges older adults may face in food recall.
With age, it becomes more and more difficult to balance during movements such as walking. Successful balance in the community requires muscles to perform corrective actions. However, the specific features of that neuromuscular control most relevant to balance, including changes that may contribute to falls as we get older, remain unclear. The purpose of this research study is to quantify which specific features of neuromuscular control during walking represent a constraint on older adults' ability to successfully respond to balance challenges and thereby prevent falls.
Do you have any of your baby teeth or are you a parent who has kept your child's baby teeth? Are you a young adult or a parent of a child age 25 or under? Did you know scientists can learn all about different medications, foods, and environmental exposures in a child's early life from their teeth? You may be able to take part in a research study to learn what factors increase children's risk of developing EoE (eosinophilic esophagitis)! We are looking for children and young adults (age 0-25) with or without EoE to volunteer. Compensation will be provided.
Are you a generally healthy person? If so, you may able to participate in a research study to find out more about the things that affect lung function and the risk of future lung disease.
